Queertonomy, a coalition of organizations for intersectional queer civil rights led by inTRANSitive, is hosting events to help the public prepare for the open comment period on “The Rule Governing Public School Policies Relating to Overnight Travel and Use of Public-School Lavatories” – otherwise known as the School Bathroom Bill, and the Overnight Accommodation Bill. If you have a trans or nonbinary student, or care deeply about one, please consider attending the public comment meeting on April 18th at ADE auditorium of the Arch Ford Education Building, or submitting an online public comment before April 24 to ADE.RulesComments@ade.arkansas.gov.
