Did you know that just being able to TALK about suicide can help prevent it?
And it’s INCREDIBLY important to be able to talk about it right now.
This community-oriented program is designed to increase awareness of the dangers of suicide and discuss the steps that can be taken to reduce risks. Any concerned person can learn to ask the question of suicide, learn about the prevalence in the community, and get engaged to be part of the solution. Just talking can save lives!
And if you are a teacher, coach, first responder, mentor, friend or family member, you can have an important role in talking to someone who really needs to hear from you.
Participants will receive a workbook, snacks, and access to additional resources (including a “lifeguard” during the training, to be mindful of those challenged by the topic and personal impact of suicide).
Workshop is limited to 50 participants, age 17 and up. Childcare is available if requested in the RSVP.
